Be taken by an effervescent, funny and poignant musical cabaret show performed by Emma Yong, George Chan, Leigh McDonald and Tony McGill. They will sing about love, loss, pain, joy....and the ultimate triumph of the human spirit.
The original show opened in 1968 in New York at The Village Gate in Greenwich Village and ran for more than four years.
Its revival in 2006-2007 at the Zipper Theatre-off Broadway has received rave reviews and award nominations.
Jacques Brel is Alive & Well & Living in Paris is a tribute to the late Belgian/French chansonnier Jacques Brel, with songs alternating between the tender and the jovial, one minute making you ruminate on life, the next tapping your toe to the bouncing beat.
“A fabulously good production!.. Brel is as good as it gets”
Terry Teachout - The Wall Street Journal
