The founder
Sing'theatre, was founded by Nathalie Ribette, a French national, who has been involved in the performing arts in Singapore since 1998.
Nathalie , is a theatre director / producer, who’s last musical Shows, No Regrets, a tribute to Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel is alive and well and living in Paris , were artistic successes with rave reviews.
She is Sing’theatre’s founder and artictic director and has been involved in the performing arts in Singapore since 1998.
She was recognized in March 2007 by the American Women Association of Singapore (AWA) for “extraordinary effort and outstanding contributions to the arts, culture and education in Singapore”.
In November 2002, she made her debut as producer/director, staging a Franco-Singaporean version of Notre Dame de Paris, the musical at the Alliance Française. The show was sold out. Later in 2004, Nathalie designed, produced and directed No Regrets, a Tribute to Edith Piaf in partnership with the Alliance Française.
Then, she spent two years studying the evolution of the performing arts in Singapore and decided that she could bring something different, contribute to a wider choice on the local scene and attract new audiences to theatre.
To launch Sing’theatre, she gave in to popular demand and restaged No Regrets, a Tribute to Edith Piaf at the DBS ARTS CENTRE – Home of SRT last march 2007.
The show was both an artistic and commercial success with rave reviews.

A Singaporean in Paris is a “juke box musical” that pays tribute to Singapore artists and French musical culture. This unique musical experience explores the journey of a native Singaporean in magical Paris. Hossan Leong will be this Singaporean in Paris. He will be supported by Emma Yong, George Chan, Leigh McDonald and Robin Goh.
At Sing'theatre, we do believe that some theatre techniques can be useful to anyone in their professional, social and private life. This is the reason why we have created Sing'theatre Training.
